Note that creatures will have different stats in Survival of the Fittest

1Percentages are based on the value of the stat the moment the creature was tamed (after taming effectiveness)
2The absolute Base Damage is shown here instead of the percentage.
3Wild creatures do not level up movement speed
4Torpor increases every level on wild creatures, but can not be increased once they are tamed.
5The Alpha Megalodon is incapable of drowning.

Combat[edit | edit source]
General[edit | edit source]
Strategy[edit | edit source]
Use a Baryonyx to stun it, then hit it. As the alpha can often be followed by a pack of normal Megalodon, it is recommended to kill those first. A pack of Baryonyx can deal more damages and take care of others threats that may be around, as tamed and unmounted Baryonyx can also stun. It can also be shot with a Crossbow underwater or a Bow from above ground or from a raft, but this can be a lengthy and expensive process due to the Alpha Megalodon's high health.
If the Alpha Megalodon is encountered near the surface, a Basilosaurus with at least 110% movement speed can barely outrun it, giving the Basilosaurus time to heal if the rider is near the surface. While it is possible to defeat an Alpha Megalodon one on one with this method, it is much riskier to perform alone and is not recommended unless there is no other option. This method works even better if the rider can enter a shallow river, as you can easily escape all predators if starting to become overwhelmed.

Weakness[edit | edit source]
It can be stunned by a Baryonyx's special underwater attack, and be killed without being able to attack.
