Basic Info[]

Behavior[]

Appearance[]

Brute X-Raptor appear similar to the normal X-Raptor X-Raptor but are larger.

Color Scheme and Regions[]

This section displays the Brute X-Raptor's natural colors and regions. For demonstration, the regions below are colored red over an albino Brute X-Raptor. The colored squares shown underneath each region's description are the colors that the Brute X-Raptor will randomly spawn with to provide an overall range of its natural color scheme. Hover your cursor over a color to display its name and ID.

This information can be used to alter the Brute X-Raptor's regions by entering cheat SetTargetDinoColor <ColorRegion> <ColorID> in the cheat console. For instance, cheat SetTargetDinoColor 0 6 would color the Brute X-Raptor's "lower body" magenta.

Wild Stats Level-up

Type in values of a wild creature to see on which stats it's emphasized. Green values on a high-level creature are very good for breeding. If you have already tamed your creature you can try to recover the breeding stats with an external tool.[1]

Brute X-Raptor

The stat-calculator does not work in the mobile-view, see here for alternatives: Apps

Note that after the creature is tamed it gets bonuses on some stats depending on the taming effectiveness. This makes it hard to retrieve the levels on a tamed creature, so this tool is only for wild ones, but gives a first impression, how well the stats are distributed.

Combat[]

This section describes how to fight against the Brute X-Raptor.

General[]

The brute raptor is less powerful then your typical brutes but still is powerful overall. It has the same amount of health as a gamma megapithecus meaning it can tank a lot of hits. it does 100 damage on gamma, 300-400 on beta, and over 600 on alpha. the brute raptor is tiny so it might be hard to hit. Another factor that makes it difficult is that it is fast meaning it can chase down most allos trying to bleed it to death.

Treat the battle like a boss battle. bring strong tames like gigas or bleed it down.

Strategy[]

GAMMA

This battle is pretty easy as it takes 4 times as much damage and does little damage itself. To defeat it use average tames like a Spino or Rex.Even a single Baryonyx (keep in mind that while riding a baryonyx, the brute raptor can pounce you off of your mount) that is well leveled could beat it. Raptors stand less of a chance but can defeat it as a group if you are gonna use raptors make the Brute attack one and the rest could attack from behind.

BETA

The easiness burns up and it becomes hard. It is now highly difficult due to the fact that you need to do 180k damage to it and it can kill unprepared tames and survivors with ease. Rexes and Spinos are suggested as it does rip through smaller weaker dinos. If you have access to Aberration or Genesis:Part 2, Reapers can be useful as they natrually have 80% damage reduction. Rock Elementals also take less damage and are pretty powerful so they are suggested. The Astrocetus can have a tek saddle with turrets and have the ability to drop bombs from above to keep you out of harms way for an easy kill. Magmasaurs can have an amazing saddles earned from missions and can do good damage but keep in mind that its ablilities can not be used in inclimate weather. The most highly suggested tame is the Giganotosaurus as it can have 35k health and does obscene amounts of damage if leveled properly. A single Giga can do this alone.

ALPHA

On alpha difficulty the brute raptor takes 80% less and does 500-600 damage. The raptor becomes a terror, a hellish blood-thirsty nightmare which tears through tames. If you come unprepared your beloved tames will turn into a bleeding mass. Don´t bother bringing Rexes or Spinos, this will result in losses even if the saddles are above 150 armor as the raptor ignores armor. Rock elementals have a higher chance but still have a high chance of dying and so do Reapers. Gigas are probably one of the only creatures to battle it as they have a huge damage output but still be careful.

Using a Bloodstalker to hang from a high ledge while shooting with a high quality Tek Phase Pistol is a viable strategy. Beware that the Tek Pistol has a short range so it will require you to get closer to the brute to damage it. A similar but much more risky strategy will be to use an Argentavis with Grappling Hooks if you are doing the mission solo, have no bloodstalker, or there is nothing close enough to hang from.(If more than one person is available for the mission, ignore the following steps and just have one person fly while the other shoots from the Agrentavis.) Once you find the Brute fly above it and jump off the Argy and in quick succession grapple yourself to the bird and hang just out of reach of the Raptor to keep it from moving too much and shoot. Repeat this until the mission completes and bring lots of Element. Because the Brute X-Raptor will be accompanied by others at the end of the mission try to target specific gendered Raptors to remove the mate boost and deal more damage. An example is if there are two females and one male Raptor you should target the male first to remove the mate boost and vice versa.

Weaponry[]

Bring ascendant firearms to kill it but it is way better to use tames in alpha as there is a time limit.

Dangers[]

  • The brute raptor ignores saddles.
  • It is fast and hard to hit.
  • It is very small making it hard to hit in packs.
  • It has a giant health pool (180k)
  • It spawns with two other raptors level 600 in the end making it more difficult.
  • You have a time limit so be quick!

Weakness[]

Its damage does get reduced from natural armor and human armor. Also its AI has a strange way of attacking

Collectibles[]

Spotlight[]

Notes/Trivia[]

  • If you put 4 tames in a square around it there is a chance it will run in a circle.
  • Sometimes is spawns in trees or flying above the ground
