The Generic Resource is an Unobtainable Item in ARK: Survival Evolved.

The Generic Resource exists within the game files but is and is only obtainable from removing "ammo" on a fishing rod.
After the PS4 v533.14 server release, users started to report that you could get this item by fishing during the Ark: Love Evolved 5 event.
On Xbox v797.24, if you have honey on a fishing pole and load it with an additional honey you will get one honey and a generic resource.
