Creators of the Notes[]

I'm not comfortable editing this, but when I read it this bugged me. The opening section of this page refers to two of the explorers as "Recipe Gal" and "Dossier Dude". The Dossiers were created by Elimisha, which is a female name (Swahili meaning "teaching knowledge" which I thought was neat when I looked it up); and the recipes were written by "Edmund Rockwell", which is a male name. The genders on the nicknames are backwards. Wouldn't it just be more clear to say something more like "there are key survivors on the ARK, such as the individuals who wrote the dossiers and recipes" and just avoid gendering them altogether? 71.244.136.218 00:00, 10 June 2016 (UTC)

Hi, the text in question is an official quote that described the creators of the notes. Until the notes are released and more is known about them, I'd leave it like that. You're right and probably the devs just switched the description there, but maybe it's intended.--Cadaeib (talk) 05:13, 10 June 2016 (UTC)

Primitive Plus currently crashes when opening explorer notes as at 8/8/17

Helena #30[]

Lava Cave/South East Cave.[]

I feel something should be done about the fact that the South East Cave/Lava Cave is given 2 names. This can be confusing, especially here considering it is written as South East Cave on the Dossiers and Rockwell record, while the HLNA Discovery calls it the Lava Cave. Same about the Cave Map calling it the South East Cave, while the page for it calls it Lava Cave. Dran_____ (talk) 22:28, 8 March 2021 (UTC)

HLNA notes are broken[]

Ah, glad it's fixed for you. I see the same thing now (using Firefox as well), but I wouldn't call it exactly broken. Some notes show the duration, some don't (stuck at 0:00/0:00) but it looks like they need a few secs to load for some reason, and once one starts to chatter the others do too. Viewing the audio directly in a new tab is instantaneous. Not sure why this is happening, but thanks for the report. Alexrmski (talk) 22:06, 9 March 2021 (UTC)

HLN-A Discoveries are all one off[]

The discovery found in the game are all one higher than noted in the wiki, circling around. Added GPS to make sure that any corrections don't "overshoot"

Nida 13[]

Possibly add a note to Nida's 13th note that it is underground in the extended tunnel between the rings. Would have saved me 20 minutes
