The Alarm Clock can be used when Sleeping. This is a singleplayer only feature used to make the time go by faster. The Alarm Clock is available at level 21 and can be unlocked for 12 engram points. It is useful if you want to tame a dinosaur that takes long, but the bed skips time for 7 hours, and certain dinos would wake up after that. Using the Alarm Clock can skip some of the taming process and still keep said dino unconscious for the time being.
