Use an Ichthy.png Ichthy or Manta.png Manta to hunt Eurypterid.png Eurypterid. They have no knockback and don’t gain any Torpor.png Torpor, which the Eurypterids can massively inflict. This allows you to attack and kill them effortlessly. Be wary however, the eurypterid also rapidly drains the stamina of tamed dinos and will leave you vulnerable to the other terrors of the deep.

Another way to hunt them is to hit one with a Grappling Hook.png Grappling Hook and then use a fast water mount to drag it to the shore, where it can be harvested by a Therizinosaurus for extra pearls.

Beelzebufo do increased damage against Eurypterid.png Eurypterid and also gather black pearls at an increased rate.

While an Eurypterid.png Eurypterid only drops a few pearls, an Alpha Tusoteuthis.png Alpha Tusoteuthis drops 100 Black Pearls.
