Basic Info[edit | edit source]
Behavior[edit | edit source]
After you track enough tracks the brute megaloceros will appear and, unlike most brutes, will only attack if provoked. At the end It appear with a herd of smaller megaloceros (including females)
Appearance[edit | edit source]
The Brute Megaloceros will always take the form of a large male Megaloceros.
Color Scheme and Regions[edit | edit source]
This section displays the Brute Megaloceros's natural colors and regions. For demonstration, the regions below are colored red over an albino Brute Megaloceros. The colored squares shown underneath each region's description are the colors that the Brute Megaloceros will randomly spawn with to provide an overall range of its natural color scheme. Hover your cursor over a color to display its name and ID.
This information can be used to alter the Brute Megaloceros's regions by entering cheat SetTargetDinoColor <ColorRegion> <ColorID>
in the cheat console. For instance, cheat SetTargetDinoColor 0 6
would color the Brute Megaloceros's "unknown" magenta.

Wild Stats Level-up
Type in values of a wild creature to see on which stats it's emphasized. Green values on a high-level creature are very good for breeding. If you have already tamed your creature you can try to recover the breeding-stats with an external tool.[1]
The stat-calculator does not work in the mobile-view, see here for alternatives: Apps
Note that after the creature is tamed it gets bonuses on some stats depending on the taming effectiveness. This makes it hard to retrieve the levels on a tamed creature, so this tool is only for wild ones, but gives a first impression, how well the stats are distributed.
Combat[edit | edit source]
This section describes how to fight against the Brute Megaloceros.
General[edit | edit source]
The Brute Megaloceros appears in the mission "Deer-ly Departed". It is mostly just a scaled up Megaloceros, although it does have a pretty high attack for some
Brute Creatures. Be sure to come prepared with some good armor and a good mount. Towards the end of the mission, it leads you to a pack of its brethren brutes.
Strategy[edit | edit source]
A Ferox is highly recommended, as you can just hang on cliffs and throw boulders at it without any risk of danger. If you do not have a
Ferox, any other high level mount will do, as long as it has a decent amount of health to tank its attacks.
Weaponry[edit | edit source]
Again, a Ferox can easily snipe it with boulders while hanging on a cliff, but things like
Rexes,
Allos or anything with decent health and melee can take the Brute Megaloceros and its pack down with ease.
Dangers[edit | edit source]
Its high melee can easily ruin a players day, along with the fact that at the end you have to fight a whole pack of them.
Weakness[edit | edit source]
The Brute Megaloceros has moderately low health for a Brute Creature, and can be taken down easily as long as the players mount can tank some of its attacks.

Notes/Trivia[edit | edit source]
- The pack at the end of the hunt has female megaloceros which are unable to attack but can Strangely attack in this mission.
- Also the females are extremely fast and are very difficult to outrun.
- the Brute megaloceros pack does not act like a pack and if one is attacked they will not all converge on it, they will ignore the attacker and will only attack if hit.this allows the player to kill them one by one.
