Cactus Sap is a Consumable in the Scorched Earth-DLC of ARK: Survival Evolved.

Gathering[edit | edit source]

Cactus sap is harvested from cacti seen around the map. The smaller cacti can be harvested with hands or, more efficiently, using a Whip (Scorched Earth).png Whip. The larger ones require a tool such as a Stone Pick.png Pick or Stone Hatchet.png Hatchet. The Chainsaw (Scorched Earth).png Chainsaw is one of the most efficient non-Dino methods to gather sap. Weight Reduction[edit | edit source]

The following creatures reduce the weight of Cactus Sap by the listed amount while it is in their inventory:

It is also used for crafting the following items:

Notes[edit | edit source]

  • The tool tip states that the cactus sap should sate thirst when consumed, but at the moment it will only sate hunger on the Scorched Earth map.
  • At the moment, harvesting the resource will give water instead of eating the sap.
