Cosmetics (Mobile)

Cosmetics are various purchasable/craftable items added in Mobile 1.0.86 and Mobile 1.0.88 used as decoration for a base. There are three types of Cosmetics:

  • Free Engrams, which have an Ancient Amber (Mobile).png Ancient Amber requirement to craft, and any items used to craft it will not be recovered when it has been destroyed.
  • Paid Engrams, which do not have an Ancient Amber (Mobile).png Ancient Amber requirement to craft, and any items used to craft it will not be recovered when it has been destroyed.
  • Purchasable Items, which are bought with Ancient Amber (Mobile).png Ancient Amber, and any items used to craft it will be returned to your inventory when it has been destroyed.

Types of Cosmetics[edit | edit source]

Furnishings[edit | edit source]

Clocks[edit | edit source]

Clocks are Purchasable Items. They can be used as an Alarm Clock (Mobile).png Alarm Clock when Sleeping and can display either the ARK time or the local real-world time. There are currently two Clocks, the Analog Clock (Mobile).png Analog Clock and the Digital Clock (Mobile).png Digital Clock.

Simple Curtains[edit | edit source]

Simple Curtains (Mobile).png Simple Curtains are Purchasable Items that come in packs of four. They can be placed on any windows, set to open or closed, and can be colored with any Sky Coloring.png Dye.

Elegant Furniture[edit | edit source]

The Elegant Lamp (Mobile).png Elegant Lamp is a fully functional Purchasable Item. The Elegant Bed (Mobile).png Elegant Bed, the Elegant Table (Mobile).png Elegant Table, the Elegant Bench (Mobile).png Elegant Bench, and the Elegant Chair (Mobile).png Elegant Chair are all available as Free Engrams and function the same as their wooden counterparts.

Gear Display[edit | edit source]

The Gear Displays are all Purchasable Items. They can be used to display Armor and Weapons. There are three Displays, the Weapon Mount (Small) (Mobile).png Weapon Mount (Small), the Weapon Mount (Large) (Mobile).png Weapon Mount (Large), and the Armor Stand (Mobile).png Armor Stand.

Vases[edit | edit source]

The Vases are available as Free Engrams. They can be used to extend the Spoilage timer of perishables. There are two Vases, the Ceramic Vase (Mobile).png Ceramic Vase and the Glass Vase (Mobile).png Ceramic Vase.

Rugs[edit | edit source]

Creature Skin Rugs[edit | edit source]

The Creature Skin Rugs are Purchasable Items. They can be used for decor and are customizable. Simply insert a tamed creature's Creature Implant (Mobile).png Implant into the corresponding Rug, and it will inherit the characteristics and the name from the Creature Implant (Mobile).png Implant. There are five Creature Skin Rugs, the Dire Bear Rug (Mobile).png Dire Bear Rug, the Dodo Rug (Mobile).png Dodo Rug, the Gigantopithecus Rug (Mobile).png Gigantopithecus Rug, the Sabertooth Rug (Mobile).png Sabertooth Rug, and the Titanoboa Rug (Mobile).png Titanoboa Rug.

Decorative Rugs[edit | edit source]

The Decorative Rugs are also Purchasable Items. They can be used for decor. There are four Decorative Rugs, the Large Elegant Rug (Mobile).png Large Elegant Rug, the Round Elegant Rug (Mobile).png Round Elegant Rug, the Large Woven Rug (Mobile).png Large Woven Rug, and the Round Woven Rug (Mobile).png Round Woven Rug.

Statues[edit | edit source]

Statues are Purchasable Items. They can be used for decoration, as Trophies, or to scare off enemy Tribes. There are six, the Carnotaurus Statue (Mobile).png Carnotaurus Statue, the Giganotosaurus Statue (Mobile).png Giganotosaurus Statue, the Kairuku Statue (Mobile).png Kairuku Statue, the Pteranodon Statue (Mobile).png Pteranodon Statue, the Spinosaur Statue (Mobile).png Spinosaur Statue, and the Tusoteuthis Statue (Mobile).png Tusoteuthis Statue.

Water Fountain[edit | edit source]

The Water Fountain (Mobile).png Water Fountain is available as a Free Engram. It functions as a Water Reservoir.png Water Reservoir, but instead fills up when it Rains and will slowly lose Water over time.

Planters[edit | edit source]

The Planters are available as Free Engrams. They can take any seed except for Plant Species X Seed.png Plant Species X Seed. There are four Planters, the Stone Planter (Mobile).png Stone Planter, the Stone Pot (Mobile).png Stone Pot, the Ceramic Planter (Mobile).png Ceramic Planter, and the Ceramic Pot (Mobile).png Ceramic Pot.

Seeds[edit | edit source]

The Seeds are Purchasable Items. They can be planted in Planters to grow into Flowers. There are five Seeds, the Snake Plant Seeds (Mobile).png Snake Plant Seeds, the Papaver Seeds (Mobile).png Papaver Seeds, the Aconitum Seeds (Mobile).png Aconitum Seeds, the Leucanthemum Seeds (Mobile).png Leucanthemum Seeds, and the Hemerocallis Seeds (Mobile).png Hemerocallis Seeds.

Hedge[edit | edit source]

The Hedges are available as Paid Engrams. They can be used to decorate a garden. There are three, the Box Hedge (Mobile).png Box Hedge, the Cone Hedge (Mobile).png Cone Hedge, and the Round Hedge (Mobile).png Round Hedge.

Paver[edit | edit source]

The Gravel Paver is available as a Free Engram with the other Pavers available as Paid Engrams. They can be used to outline walkways throughout a base. There are eight Pavers, the Gravel Paver (Mobile).png Gravel Paver, the Gravel Half Paver (Mobile).png Gravel Half Paver, the Brick Paver (Mobile).png Brick Paver, the Brick Half Paver (Mobile).png Brick Half Paver, the Marble Paver (Mobile).png Marble Paver, the Marble Half Paver (Mobile).png Marble Half Paver, the Rock Paver (Mobile).png Rock Paver, and the Rock Half Paver (Mobile).png Rock Half Paver.

Miscellaneous[edit | edit source]

The Miscellaneous Garden Decorations are available as Paid Engrams. They can be used to decorate a garden. There are five, the Trellis Archway (Mobile).png Trellis Archway, the Trellis Fence (Mobile).png Trellis Fence, the Stone Steps (Mobile).png Stone Steps, the Crop Bed (Round) (Mobile).png Crop Bed (Round), and the Crop Bed (Square) (Mobile).png Crop Bed (Square).

The Garden Gnome (Mobile).png Garden Gnome is available as a Purchasable Item and comes in packs of five. It has some sort of mysterious property...[1]
