Eastern Oasis
Eastern Oasis (Scorched Earth)
Location

The Eastern Oasis is a small region in Scorched Earth.

Surroundings[]

The Eastern Oasis has a body of water and most of the players need can be found here. The dunes are nearby, so are oil veins, water veins, cacti and metal.

Overview[]

Just like many places in Scorched Earth, it is dangerous when it comes to creatures. Thylacoleos, wolves and sabertooth all guard the exits to the Oasis, also. There is a Kaprosuchus that spawns in the water, making it a dangerous task to drink. Terror birds are everywhere, and near the dunes, megatherium spawn that can easily become aggressive. Raptors also sometimes wander here.

However, it has oil veins, lots of water, trees, cacti, silica pearls and oil all nearby, this makes it one of the best locations to start. The lack of large aggressive carnivores make it a plausible starting location, however, it's borders are guarded by Rock Elementals, Deathworms and very rarely Rexes and Wyverns.

Creatures[]

The very common creatures include Coelacanth, Jerboa, Kaprosuchus, Morellatops and Paraceratherium. Common creatures include Raptors, Sabertooths and Terror Birds. Uncommon creatures include Thorny Dragons and Procoptodon. Pegomastax are also included. Rare creatures include Carnos, Iguanodon, Gallimius and Titanomyrma. Very rare creatures include Wyverns, Rexes and it's alpha variants. Ovis and Phoenix are also included

Notes[]

It's an overall decent base spot, with access to the materials you neeed to survive, such as metal and cacti, has a source of water, and some good starter tames such as Lymantria, or Morellatops. If you venture north, there is a Thylacoleo spawn so you can tame those.
