The Electrophorus Egg is one of the Eggs in ARK: Survival Evolved.

Overview[]

Eel Eggs are randomly dropped by Electrophorus Electrophoruses.

After two Electrophorus Electrophoruses mate, the resulting egg can be hatched into a baby Electrophorus Electrophorus.

Incubation

Disambig Main article: Incubation

The Eel Egg takes 4h 59m 58.561s to hatch. It must be in the temperature range of 0 to 50 °C / 32 to 122 °F to successfully hatch, otherwise it will start to lose Health Health. The female Electrophorus Electrophorus needs between 18h and 2d before having the capacity to lay eggs again. The incubation time can be reduced by up to 20% if the egg is placed in an Egg Incubator (Genesis Part 2) Egg Incubator at the ideal temperature.

Collecting[]

The Electrophorus Egg, just like any other fish egg, cannot be picked up. However, it can be picked up in ARK: Survival Evolved Mobile.

Super Fertilized Egg (Mobile)[]

Logo Mobile This section is about a feature exclusively available on Mobile

Super Fertilized Eel Egg (Mobile) Super Fertilized Eel Eggs are a type of Eel Egg exclusive to ARK: Survival Evolved Mobile.

These Eggs can be obtained after a female Electrophorus Electrophorus with a Carnivore Pheromone (Mobile) Carnivore Pheromone applied has laid one. They will hatch quicker than normal Eel Eggs and the baby Electrophorus Electrophorus will have better stats when it has hatched.

Notes/Trivia[]

  • The egg must be hatched in the water, and the baby has to stay in the water or else it will die.
  • The egg cannot be used in any kibble recipes.
    • However, if it could, it would most likely be used to make Regular Kibble.
