Basic Info[edit | edit source]

Dossier[edit | edit source]

This section is intended to be an exact copy of what the survivor Helena Walker, the author of the dossiers, has written. There may be some discrepancies between this text and the in-game creature.

The Diprotodon is a rare creature that can be found on mountain sides and around the crater of the volcano. It is a bold creature that doesn't flee upon being attacked and they often dwell in pairs of two. It often has contact with the poisonous side of the island and has thus developed a unique antibody to fight off toxins.

This is a strong beast and many of the tribes on the island fashion a battering ram into its saddle so it can harvest flint (one of the only creatures to harvest flint effectively). It has surprising maneuvrebility and its high torpor allows riders to navigate through treacherous caves without risk of being knocked out. It can also prove useful for raiding enemy bases since it can destroy metal with a few charges.

Behavior[edit | edit source]

When approached by a player the Diprotodon will not move off or attack them. It will however retaliate with force if attacked and other Diprotodon in the area will join in the battle. If they knock out their opponent with their high torpor dealt per blow they will continue to attack until they are dead. They favor grazing the bushels of grass located in the higher regions and can mostly be found on the mountain paths near the volcano.

Taming[edit | edit source]

The Diprotodon is a passive tamed animal which can only be fed: Bio Toxin, Stimberrys or Stimulant.
