Overview[edit | edit source]
Troodon Eggs are randomly dropped by Troodons. They can be eaten or used to make Regular Kibbles for taming Anglerfish, Ankylosaurus, Baryonyx, Beelzebufo, Carbonemys, Carnotaurus, Dimetrodon, Diplodocus, Doedicurus, Gigantopithecus, Ichthyornis, Kaprosuchus, Kentrosaurus, Lymantria, Pelagornis, Pteranodon, Pulmonoscorpius, Purlovia, Sabertooth, Sarco, Stegosaurus, Terror Bird, Thorny Dragon, and Velonasaur.
Picking one up in the presence of nearby Troodons (excluding domesticated ones) will cause them to become hostile and attack the survivor.
Collecting[edit | edit source]
It is not advised to take a Troodon egg in the wild unless you are absolutely sure there are no Troodons around.
If you are not sure or positive that there are Troodons around then DO NOT take the egg. Doing so will almost certainly cause near-instant death.
If you do find a Troodon egg in the wild and plan on taking It, then your best option is scout around before taking it, but don't go too far, as the Troodons could be anywhere. Once you are done scouting, cautiously take the egg and then immediately run to the nearest body of water. Troodons may be fast on land but, they are horrible swimmers. Cross the water and travel far away from the area. You now have your own Troodon egg!
