Fiber is a resource in ARK: Survival Evolved. It can be acquired by harvesting plants by hand, or more effectively with a Metal Sickle, or by using a Gigantopithecus, Direbear and/or a Therizinosaurus.
Fiber is one of the early base raw materials in Ark and is used in many crafting recipes as an ingredient. As crafting a metal sickle isn't possible until the player reaches level 30 and the Gigantopithecus can't be tamed until level 40, early players must harvest fiber by hand. It can also be found in white and green supply drops.
Crafting[edit | edit source]
Fiber is used to craft a lot of items, including:
- Armor (all types)
- Platform Saddles
- Refining Forge
- Simple Bed

Notes/Trivia[edit | edit source]
- Currently, Fiber is the item with most crafting uses in ARK, as it is used in more different crafting recipes than any other item.
