Basic Info[edit | edit source]
Dossier[edit | edit source]
Microluminis Globulus is best described as a slobbering, roly-poly ball of affection. Just like its kin, it is completely harmless, despite its pronounced fangs. So if a survivor sees one running towards them, they should prepare to be licked, not bitten.
Unfortunately, being so ugly that you're cute is not an effective means of self-defense, which lands it near the bottom of the food chain. Its Charge Light may intimidate some predators, but its attracts just as many.
While Microluminis Globus has skin reminiscent of lizards or amphibians, its behavior is incredibly similar to a common canine. This has made it a particularly popular choice as a companion and source of Charge Light, but remember - whatever shoulder you rest it on will be covered in drool within minutes.
Behavior[edit | edit source]
From what the trailer shows, "friendly and cuddly" .
Appearance[edit | edit source]
The Bulbdog looks like a frog with an anglerfish lure. The face resembles that of a pug.

Base Stats and Growth[edit | edit source]
Note that creatures will have different stats in Survival of the Fittest
|Attribute||Amount at Level 1||Increase per point||Taming Bonus|
1Percentages are based on the value of the stat the moment the creature was tamed (after taming effectiveness)
2The absolute Base Damage is shown here instead of the percentage.
3Wild creatures do not level up movement speed
4Torpor increases every level on wild creatures, but can not be increased once they are tamed.
|Movement Type||Base Speed||Sprinting|
- These are the base speeds of the creature at 100% Movement Speed
- For a comparison of the speeds of all creatures, see Base Creature Speeds
|Attack Type||Projectile Values||Torpor Values|
|Impulse||Radius||Base||Mult||Duration||Damage Mult||Amount||Duration||Damage Mult||Amount|
Wild Stats Level-up
Type in values of a wild creature to see on which stats it's emphasized. Green values on a high-level creature are very good for breeding. If you have already tamed your creature you can try to recover the breeding-stats with an external tool.
Note that after the creature is tamed it gets bonuses on some stats depending on the taming effectiveness. This makes it hard to retrieve the levels on a tamed creature, so this tool is only for wild ones, but gives a first impression, how well the stats are distributed.

Taming[edit | edit source]
The Bulbdog is unable to be tamed through the standard tranquilize-and-feed methods, and must be tamed non-violently.
To feed it, place raw meat on the last slot of your hotbar, then when approached press use (default E, , ) to feed it. You cannot feed them all the meat required for taming at one time, you must wait every couple of minutes until it is hungry again to feed it more until its taming meter is filled.

Utility[edit | edit source]
Like other Charge Light dino, Bulbdog carries itself "Charge Light", which replenishes over time whilst turned off. It provides players with "Charge", protecting from Nameless pack ambush. If set to active, it can also detect enemy players nearby, and/or highest/maximum level dino.
Due to the nature of its passive state, Bulbdog cannot fight back, and should never be used as combat dino.
It carries the most charged light capacity with the lowest recharge rate.
Roles[edit | edit source]
Anti-Nameless Ambush: Since Bulbdog can be shoulder-mounted like every other Charge Light, it provides a charge to prevent Nameless pack from emerging. This however, will attract Seeker.
Dung Provider: Bulbdog defecates often, especially when attempting to tame it, making it a useful source of dung for Dung Beetle.
