Basic Info[]

Patient Note[]

This dossier section is intended to be an exact copy of what Dr. Sophia, the author of the Patient Notes has written. There may be some discrepancies between this text and the in-game creatures.

Megapithecus Pt. Note (Mobile)
Pre-exposure

Subject is moderately docile, preferring to wander about and forage rather than interact with other creatures in its proximity. Shows moderate signs of aggression when approached, but otherwise keeps to itself while enjoying the bounty of fruits that can be acquired within its habitat.

Post-exposure

Subject shows highly increased signs of aggression, abnormal enhancements to strength, speed, and intelligence. Subject is able to rally other creatures of its similar nature to fight alongside it in battle, urging even the smallest of the ape species to participate in a battle to the death against any intruder.

Combat[]

This section describes how to fight against the Megapithecus Pestis.

General[]

The arena is divided into 5 different sections by rocky outcroppings that jut from the floor. There is enough space between the walls and the rocks that the boss, as well as the survivor, can move through them. The Megapithecus Pestis possesses two attacks, a smash which causes a large knockback and a ranged attack where it tosses a large boulder at the survivor. The boulder deals a significant amount of damage upon impact. The Megapithecus Pestis can summon Gigantopithecus Gigantopithecus, which will chase after the survivor and attempt to cut them off, and Mesopithecus Mesopithecus, which will throw Feces Feces to trigger a slow effect as well as drain Health Health over time.

Strategy[]

The Megapithecus Pestis can be easily confused by the large rocks, which may block its direction. The bulky body of the Megapithecus Pestis sticks out, allowing it to be shot at.

Weaponry[]

Using a Compound Bow Compound Bow can deal decent amounts of damage and keeps the survivor at a reasonable distance. Using a Shotgun Shotgun will deal greater damage, but it can put the survivor dangerously close to the Megapithecus Pestis.

Dangers[]

The Megapithecus Pestis will attempt to hurl enormous rocks at people. The meso minions it summons inflict Torpor Torpor that can put a survivor to sleep. Multiple hits from the large boulders can catch an unsuspecting person off guard, as the sudden, collective damage may be fatal.

Weakness[]

A good ranged weapon like compound bows can do lots of damage to it or a pump shotgun
