The Organic Oil is a Resource in the Primitive+-DLC of ARK: Survival Evolved. It is made from either Seeds or Fresh Fat and used as an alternative to Crude Oil. It is also used to make jerky in the Meat Preserving Shed.

Crafting[edit | edit source]

Organic Oil can be made with either Seeds or Fresh Fat.

The Seed variety is made from 25 seeds in the Handmill. Any combination of seeds will work, and will produce 10 Organic Oil.

The Fat variety is made by cooking 15 pieces of Fresh Fat in a cooking structure such as a Campfire, Cooking Pot, Bonfire, etc. This method will also yield 10 pieces of oil.

Notes[edit | edit source]

  • Organic oil made from ground seeds is considered a different item from Organic Oil made from cooked fat, and the two will not stack together. The two varieties can otherwise be used interchangeably however.
  • Burns as fuel in Ceiling Lamp, Table Lantern, Lantern and Candle.
