The Sloped Adobe Roof is a Structure in the Scorched Earth-DLC of ARK: Survival Evolved. It provides protection from the elements, giving bonuses to hypo- and hyperthermic insulation.

Construction

Unlike the Adobe Ceiling (Scorched Earth) Adobe Ceiling, the Sloped Adobe Roof is slightly inclined and used in combination with the Sloped Walls.

Once the first Sloped Adobe Roof is placed, subsequent Sloped Adobe Roofs can snap into place along the first one, allowing them to line up, provided that there is adequate room to do so.
A roof requires support from a nearby foundation or pillar in order to be placed.

Notes

  • It is not possible to place structures on Sloped Roofs, except for Signs and Billboards.
  • Due to a copy-paste error when creating the blueprint, the item description is wrong. That structure doesn't provide any greenhouse effect on crop plots.
