Overview[edit | edit source]

The surface area here, just like the other surface areas, is rich in Oil, Metal, and Obsidian. A large cliffside prevents ease of access but you can utilize a series of ziplines to climb up with a Ravager or Gigantopithecus, or preferably, simply use a Rock Drake. This is among one of the easiest locations to find oil outside of harvesting it from Dung Beetle, Trilobite, or Seeker's rare drop. Reaper Kings and Seekers are your biggest concern. Only one supply beacon is active at a time here which alongside its sizable area, makes this location less contested for collecting drops from supply beacons.

As with other surface areas, do NOT enter this location during the day and make sure you are out by 6AM or 06:00 hours. You and your creature will only last mere seconds in the harsh sunlight which will be indicated by a debuff.

  • Although Obelisk in this section of Surface is tilted and not on its original position, it still functions as an ARK data transmitter.
