The Turtle Egg is one of the Eggs in ARK: Survival Evolved.
Overview[]
Turtle Eggs are randomly dropped by Carbonemys. They can be eaten or used to make Regular Kibble for taming Anglerfish, Ankylosaurus, Baryonyx, Beelzebufo, Carbonemys, Carnotaurus, Dimetrodon, Diplodocus, Doedicurus, Gigantopithecus, Ichthyornis, Kaprosuchus, Kentrosaurus, Lymantria, Pelagornis, Pteranodon, Pulmonoscorpius, Purlovia, Sabertooth, Sarco, Stegosaurus, Terror Bird, Thorny Dragon, and Velonasaur. On ARK: Survival Evolved Mobile , they can be used to make Kibble (Carbonemys Egg) for taming a Bronto or a Karkinos.
After two Carbonemys mate, the resulting egg can be hatched into a baby Carbonemys.
Grabbing an egg in the presence of wild Carbonemys will cause them to become hostile and attack the survivor.
Incubation
The Turtle Egg takes 1h 14m 59.64s to hatch. It must be in the temperature range of 30 to 34 °C / 86 to 93 °F to successfully hatch, otherwise it will start to lose Health. The female Carbonemys needs between 18h and 2d before having the capacity to lay eggs again. The incubation time can be reduced by up to 20% if the egg is placed in an Egg Incubator at the ideal temperature.
Super Fertilized Egg (Mobile)[]
This section is about a feature exclusively available on Mobile |
Super Fertilized Turtle Eggs are a type of Turtle Egg exclusive to ARK: Survival Evolved Mobile.
These Eggs can be obtained after a female Carbonemys with a Carnivore Pheromone applied has laid one. They will hatch quicker than normal Turtle Eggs and the baby Carbonemys will have better stats when it has hatched.
They can also be used to craft Super Kibble (Carbonemys Egg), which will tame Creatures faster and with more taming effectiveness.
