This Notice Is Important and You Should Read it Before Posting
Wiki editors are not game developers or server admins. We can not help you with in-game issues. If you have a problem that requires developer interference, you should submit a support ticket (click here). Every time someone asks me for help with an issue that isn't wiki-related, I feed a baby Jerboa to my Megalodons, and then I provide a copy-pasted response.

Adding Filtered Content question[edit source]

content in question is here: https://ark.gamepedia.com/index.php?title=Tribe:PVE-OfficialServer38&curid=28192&diff=211018&oldid=210835

I had tried to add those 16 points but failed to do so, so gave up. Was planning to add them one by one later today but it seems you added them all somehow. I want to understand why it is being flagged as inappropriate language so I can add more in the future without having to worry about it being blocked (and relying on others to post for me). — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ed38pve (talkcontribs) at 01:41, 1 May 2017‎ (UTC). Hi, in this case it was the word hotel that triggered the filter. It's often used by spam-bots and until now has not been used in regular content. In these cases an admin usually adds the content. Remember to sign your posts here. --Cadaeib (talk) 19:11, 1 May 2017 (UTC)
Additionally, if your content is ever flagged by a filter when you feel it shouldn't be, let one of us know. The filters keep out tons of actual vandalism, but every once in a while a legitimate edit gets caught, and we'll add it from the record and update the filters accordingly.

Private Server Tek[edit source]

I don't know how to use this website to chat, so I HOPE you meant here, now as for the chat: I recently edited the Tek Tier description regarding Private Dedicated Servers. I can confirm this as my friend owns a dedicated server and we killed brood mother on Hard difficulty and obtained 0 tek engrams. Also, we noticed on Single Player, you can see the engrams themselves but grayed out, stating you do not own them. On Private Dedicated there are 0 icons on the tek engrams list. Nothing shows. You also cannot spawn the engrams in, but you can however spawn in the physical items, just not use them. I wrote (Needs further confirmation) because it's seems no one else has tested this, nothing on google points to this fact, no other player complaints can be found. I'm aassuming because it's such a new addition to the game. I could provide Live video footage through Skype if you are interested. Also I cannot figure out how to email you as it's behind a permissions wall. I will check back here sub frequently for your answer. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Msgtomnipotent (talkcontribs) at 07:37, 8 March, 2017 (UTC). Please sign your posts with ~~~~

If it's something you have encountered, that's a different story. It just sounded like you wrote it as a "I assume it works like this, can somebody try it" sort of thing, which has happened before. I also searched a bit and couldn't find any other reports of it. I'll re-word it a little and add it back.
-- Mr Pie 5 (talk) 18:55, 8 March 2017 (UTC)
Thank you for the reply, in the mean time. I found out this was NOT the case. This was due to a Bug. I'm assuming the update was pushed out to early. What this bug did essentially was - slow Depletion of Newer Engrams(Fabricated weps/ammo's - Greenhouse and metal Structures. Everything but the newer saddles icons was disappearing over time(in the Learn Engrams List). To fix this, all you have to do is Restart the Dedicated Private Server. Problem was fixed. Sorry for the Inconvenience. If you would like, you could add a note about this particular bug and how to fix it for Private Dedicated Servers. I'm sure it may help others in the future until developers can get this fixed(which may be a while). Cheers mate. MSgtOmniPotent.

Bots ?[edit source]

Hi Mr Pie 5,

I would like to know exactly what can you do faster with a bots on ark wiki ? I saw that there are 5 bots and one of them is yours. I was wondering if it will be useful to have one on the french ark wiki. If you will be able to give me some examples, that will be awesome. And can you tell me how do I get the possibility to use one ?

Have a good day, Omig (talk) 03:51, 13 March 2017 (UTC)

Hi, bots can be used for repetitive tasks like adding categories to many pages. A common tool used with bot-accounts is AutoWikiBrowser. Very useful for the usage are regular expressions (just google that for more infos), you also can create modules in c#. If you know python, there's pywikibot for more advanced tasks. If you don't know anything of that, still have a look at AWB, replace-tasks can be made simple with that.--Cadaeib (talk) 20:15, 13 March 2017 (UTC)
Cad and I use AutoWikiBrowser, which is mainly used for adding or removing something from a lot of pages at once, or for find-and-replace-style tasks. You can view MrBot5's contributions to get examples of what it's used for. Flachdachs has one too. I don't know what program he uses for it, but it has mainly been deployed for maintenance tasks like moving pages or resolving double redirects. However, accounts have to be approved as bots before they're allowed to use automated editing programs, otherwise somebody with too much time on their hands could do mass vandalism easily.
-- Mr Pie 5 (talk) 22:57, 13 March 2017 (UTC)
Hi Cad and MrPie, thank you for your answers. So much appreciate ! I will start reading a little bit more about AWB. I already downloaded it, just to see how the user interface looks like and trying to understand how the program is working. I will need to wait a bit before asking for an approval , because I need more than 250 non-automated mainspace edits or 500 total mainspace edits before being able to be approved.
Quick other question, what do you guys use to make modification on the wiki ? Just your regular internet browser ? (Firefox, chrome, etc. ) I'm using firefox right now, and it's ALWAYS crashing when I do modification for a long time.
-- Omig (talk) 23:58, 13 March 2017 (UTC)
I use Firefox for everything, including editing. It has lately been crashing a lot on me too, although I've determined it to be caused by some of my add-ons, rather than the browser-site combo. Try disabling some of your add-ons and seeing if it still happens. Alternatively, if you have a lot of wiki tabs open, the ads could be causing the problems.
-- Mr Pie 5 (talk) 02:43, 14 March 2017 (UTC)
If you want to make experience in using a bot you can setup an own wiki on a web server (also XAMPP is fine) or website of you. However there is no sense in having a bot around without a specific task you want to solve. --Flachdachs (talk) 07:17, 14 March 2017 (UTC)

A question[edit source]

I know you guys are not developer but I wondered if you knew how to take off the limit for dino tames per tribe because I have looked everywhere and I can't find a solution and as I am an admin of a dedicated sever I spawn in starter packs for people even though I unclaimed them it counts as my tame and its been up a day and I'm at 50 out of 200 so I really need to know who to take it off. Any ideas ? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 46.60.254.18 (talkcontribs) at 13:27, 21 March 2017‎. Please sign your posts with ~~~~

I added the new options to Server Configuration. The one in question is MaxPersonalTamedDinos. --Flachdachs (talk) 15:45, 21 March 2017 (UTC)

Dino Base Damage[edit source]

Hello,

I hope I'm writing this to the right place. I just wanted to make you aware, that the Dino Base Damage List on this site << Base_Damage >> isn't matching with the values of the Dinosaur own pages. For example Titansaur, Bronto and Giganotosaurus. I hope it was ok to write this message here. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 158.64.5.241 (talkcontribs) at 09:33, 23 March 2017. Fixed. You can add such messages also to the Admin Noticeboard (linked in the left main menu) or to the Discussion page (linked above the content) that is available for every content page. --Flachdachs (talk) 11:25, 23 March 2017 (UTC)

Dedicated server PS4 Respawn dinos[edit source]

Hello, We have problem whit Dinos on PS4 dedicated server. How can I set up on dedicated server respawn or despawn dinos? On the north I have 1000 000 wolf's, Ptero, and ankylo. On the south I have nothing :D ( dodo, and fish, maybe Dilo ) Can I use the admin cheats ( destroywilddinos )on dedicated server? and how? Can you help me? Sorry for my bad english and thanks for early answer .— Preceding unsigned comment added by 31.30.52.76 (talkcontribs) at 09:32, 23 March, 2017 (UTC). Please sign your posts with ~~~~

Assuming you have admin powers on the server, you can use admincheat destroywilddinos to destroy all wild creatures and let them respawn naturally. You can also use DestroyAll <type>, with the entity ID of the creature you want to clear substituted in for <type>, such as Ptero_Character_BP_C (the others can be found on their respective pages or on Creature IDs), but be aware that this will also destroy tamed dinos of that type. You can also add the following to your server config:
DinoSpawnWeightMultipliers=(DinoNameTag=Bronto,
SpawnWeightMultiplier=1.0)
Substituting the Dino tag you want instead of Bronto (Dino Name Tags can also be found on Creature IDs), and raising or lowering the multiplier as you like. I believe the default value is 1.0, so bringing it down to 0.5 should make the dino spawn half as much.

Machinima[edit source]

Question: Is there a place somewhere in the ARK Wiki where machinima videos like this one can be shared? ARK: Survival Evolved - The Hunt If not, please send my condolences to that poor baby Jerboa that will die for me... Legsmachinima (talk) 14:41, 8 August, 2017 (UTC)

Sorry for the filter, Gamepedia doesn't like new users posting external links. No, we do not currently have a place for machinima or other such content, nor do I see justification for having one. But that was a wiki-related question, so the Jerboa lives (for now).

Trying to Edit Carryable Creatures[edit source]

Hello, I was trying to update the List of Carryable Creatures page, but it's using some odd properties I can't seem to find. It mentions properties for all the possible carriers such as "?CarryableByArgentavis" and fills the table dynamically, but I'm not sure where these are set. I looked on the creature pages (which are accurate) and can't find anything in the Infobox Creature template regarding those properties. Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 204.9.172.252 (talkcontribs) at 19:42, 10 August, 2017 (UTC). Please sign your posts with ~~~~

? denotes a Semantic MediaWiki property which is pulled from the database Module:Dv/data. Edits there require an account and should be done sparingly. The information on the page is almost entirely pulled directly from game files, so information obtained through observations should be discussed on the talk page beforehand.
-- Mr Pie 5 (talk) 21:56, 10 August 2017 (UTC)
Basically the content of the list was wrong/incomplete due to a broken function after the recent upgrade of the mediawiki software. The error is fixed meanwhile but a lot of pages need a refresh of the cache. However this page should be okay now. --Flachdachs (talk) 23:01, 10 August 2017 (UTC)

Admin commands[edit source]

I am trying to use admin commands on ark on my Xbox one and they aren't loading like I type it but it doesn't show up in the chat box it has once after waiting close to an hour but now they don't work and I've tried everything from resetting my router to hard resetting my Xbox. I would really appreciate some help.

I don't play on Xbox, so I can only give you PC-based advice. Are you in singleplayer or on a server? On a server you need to use the enablecheats command and prefix commands with "cheat". Also, I don't think they go into chat; there should be an option in your pause menu for inputting cheats, I think.

How to add actually add something to the infobox?[edit source]

Hello, I was trying to add the GFI information to the Info Box but the only thing I could do was to add a line like "| gfi = " to the page, but I couldn't actually make it visible.

If you help me discover that, I'll try to add all GFI commands for everything on this Wiki. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Erickxaviers (talkcontribs) at 5:53, August 16, 2017‎ (UTC). Please sign your posts with ~~~~

I saw what you were trying to do and added it to the infobox template. You can check my edits here and here to see what I did. It didn't show up when you did it because you only changed the copy-paste for adding the template to the page, but didn't actually change the template itself. However, the infoboxes are sensitive and transcluded on a lot of pages, so I would ask in the future that you get help before trying to change them if you aren't sure how they work.
-- Mr Pie 5 (talk) 05:14, 16 August 2017 (UTC)
I personally don't like the idea to have a GFI value in the infobox. Because there is no such separate value for this command. Instead you have to find a significant part of the blueprint path. And even then there is no guarantee that this value will work for every reader. If there are new things in the game, the order of what is found first may change. This also includes Mods as these are more likely to collide with base game things, especially if they are intended to more or less replace them, like Structures Plus. These gfi codes are potentially unreliable. Of course the gfi command is a great help for those that can't copy and paste the command with a full blueprint path. But the unreliability will also not help those players.
Some days ago someone created the page GFI Codes. Apart from the fact that putting the codes in images makes them unmaintainable and hard to read if you need a bigger text size, they are already partly outdated. E.g. the kibble codes will give you sometime the kibble but sometimes it gives instead the newly introduced recipe for this kibble.
So, if these codes should stay in the infobox there should be a big warning that these codes may not work for the reader. --Flachdachs (talk) 06:07, 16 August 2017 (UTC)

Hey I was just wondering about the mating interal and how to use it. Im really new and didnt know how to contact anyone so im doing it like this. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 188.221.190.217 (talkcontribs) at 13:31, August 26, 2017. Please sign your posts with ~~~~

The time between when females can mate is multiplied by the value of the MatingIntervalMultiplier. If you set it to 0.5, the time is multiplied by 0.5, so they can mate twice as often. See Server Configuration for more.

Adding Primitive Plus Foods?[edit source]

I'm working on figuring out which primitive plus crops work on each dino, I see you fixed the Gallimimus I've tried doing. Just a question, to refrain from asking you a thousand questions, what do I need to edit/add in which template to add primitive plus crops to specific dinosaurs? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Akingofcrows (talkcontribs) at 14:58, 26 September, 2017 (UTC). Please sign your posts with ~~~~

Adding it to the infobox as you've done with Mammoth and Stego will do for now. To add it to the TamingTable, add it to the creature's food list at Module:TamingTable/creatures. If the food isn't defined (as most Prim+ food isn't yet), it will have to be added to Module:TamingTable/food. Please be careful when editing this, or any, module, as they are sensitive, and when gathering numbers experimentally, please take care to ensure that they are as accurate as possible. Normally we extract this data from game files, and our local wizard is currently working on doing that for vanilla creatures eating Prim+ foods. We're also discussing the best way to display Prim+ taming information, so this may change in the future. Lastly, feel free to ask as many questions as you need.

G Cells[edit source]

I was wondering why there are no references or pages left referencing the g-cell gor the godzillark mod. It says they were all removed/archived, but I cannot find anyone who knows why. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.91.177.111 (talkcontribs) at 21:59, 3 October, 2017 (UTC). Please sign your posts with ~~~~

I believe User:PepeZilla was the only person we had working on the Godzillark section, and he disappeared a while ago. I doubt anybody else around here could tell you much about that mod, and so it became kind of abandoned after he left. The G-cell page was deleted because it had almost no content, which is only sometimes a good reason for deleting pages, and I don't think it was in this case, so I restored the page.

I can't remove the category 'Crafted with Pedra' from Torneira de pedra on translation to pt-br.. can you help me? Ailton Silva (talk) 16:56, 23 October 2017 (UTC)

Those categories are auto-generated from the crafting section in the infobox. Normally we create such categories with {{Crafted with}} as the content and it will hide the categories and allow the infoboxes to reference each other. If you can translate that template, I can get the infobox to use it properly.
-- Mr Pie 5 (talk) 21:28, 23 October 2017 (UTC)
Ok, I already translated the template check Crafted with Ailton Silva (talk) 22:50, 23 October 2017 (UTC)

Additionally, I approved your pending wiki claim, so you're now the administrator of the pt-br project. Please let me know if you need help with anything else!

Help with templates[edit source]

Hi,Im new to editing and i need help adding templates — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dogey10 (talkcontribs) at 12:37, 24 October 2017 (UTC). Please sign your posts with ~~~~

You can create a template just as you would any other page, only with the Template: prefix. You can call a template on a page by surrounding its name (without the prefix) with curly brackets. For example, {{unsigned}} would call Template:Unsigned, which I used on your comment. You're going to have to be more specific about what it is you're trying to do if you want more help than that though. I see you had some trouble with the Key template on Attachments, but the only issue I saw there is that it was surrounded with <nowiki> tags, which tells mediawiki to interpret the text literally, rather than as a template call.

Talk:Dedicated_Server_Providers - Discussion Edit - Your edit has been flagged as potential vandalism ?[edit source]

Hello

I am trying to edit this page here: https://ark.gamepedia.com/Talk:Dedicated_Server_Providers

I spent a long time gathering evidence, facts and screenshots and then spent allot of time formatting the information for easy reading. When I submitted the final version I am greeted with:

Your edit has been flagged as potential vandalism by the automated language filter and has been prevented. If you believe this to be in error, please contact an admin so they can recover your edit and improve the filter. You do not need to provide the content of your edit in your report, and you will probably trigger the filter if you try - an admin can find the content in the logs. However, if your edit was more than a few lines long or contains sensitive syntax, you should copy-paste it to a text document now, as recovery from the logs can cause formatting issues.

Can you please recover my post and publish? The information I presented is 100% accurate and should be viewed for public consumption.

Hi Mr Pie.
Can you tell us if you are allowed to own multiple companies and list them all here: https://ark.gamepedia.com/Talk:Dedicated_Server_Providers ?
(For example ABCGameServers.com And ARKGameServerHosting.com pointing to the same billing system and also AscendServers.com & CitadelServers.com also being owned by same person given the overwhelming evidence to support this?

2nd question in relation to the first would be, can you tell us if you can register a 2nd company with the intention of naming it alphabetically in order to be displayed top as in the case of ABCGameServers.com ?
I would really appreciate clarification on this as I think it's important to clear out the list of companies intending to miss-use the list by registering multiple companies and naming them to display first. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 191.101.166.211 (talkcontribs) at 14:43, 8 February 2018 (UTC). PixARK Wiki in French[edit source]

Hi, I would like to add a section "in other languages" and add the french one but, this is my first in gamepedia and I don't know how to do that...

Sorry if it's not the good section to post this and sorry if my english isn't really good. x)

Thank you in advance. Have a great day. Emelynn (talk) 08:43, 29 March 2018 (UTC)

You can do a translation for any page by creating a new page titled pagename/fr (for example: Taming/fr for a Taming translation) and adding it to [[Category:FR translation]]. PixArk wiki is still getting started, so there isn't a whole lot to translate right now though, but you're welcome to translate what's there. For more information, see Translation guidelines.

I tried to create like category, template, but... I'm not a code pro. I tried to read a lot of page in english in the Gamepedia Wiki but... my english is poor. I can understand the "idea" but when I have to write, it's an other story... and I'm not a dev or idk how it's called. I'm asking this because, I don't see the utility of writing a page in french, with a lot of categories, template and... these categories and template are not in french. I will continue the translation, because I want to do this but, if I'm continue this, and maybe one day a French Pixark wiki comes, all of french translation will goes directly in the french wiki ? Sorry if you don't understand my explications/questions, I will try to translate them better. Emelynn (talk) 13:11, 2 April 2018 (UTC)

Requirement for adminship on dead wiki[edit source]

Good evening, I would like to apply for adminship on Rainbow Six: Siege wiki but I don’t think I have enough edits (I was an anonymous contributor until today). The problem is that I would like to do admin tasks first (changing system messages, especially Mediawiki:Sidebar, MediaWiki:Licenses and MediaWiki:Uploadtext (uploads on the wiki aren’t sorted at all...), editing the css because some elements lacks of contrast (the dark Hydra skin is derived from the bright Vector skin and some elements like collapsing elements are still dark), and the main page is outdated).

I’m an experimented Wikimedian user and I already did 2 wikis from scratch and I’m currently creating a new one (In french). So, do I have a chance if I ask to claim this wiki ?

Thank you Architecte38 (talk) 22:04, 19 June 2018 (UTC)

Yeah, if you're willing to give that wiki some love, then go for it. And if you need some help, let me know.
-- Mr Pie 5 (talk) 04:50, 20 June 2018 (UTC)
If you say so. Thank you ! Architecte38 (talk) 07:21, 20 June 2018 (UTC)
Speaking of help, could your bot rename all those files and correct the pages they're included in ? --Architecte38 (talk) 07:23, 20 June 2018 (UTC)
Sure, I'll set the bot right on that. We should continue discussion on that wiki though.
-- Mr Pie 5 (talk) 20:38, 20 June 2018 (UTC)

I left you a message on you local User talk:Mr Pie 5 --CreativeC38 (talk) 07:13, 22 June 2018 (UTC)

Oh, yep, you did. I have the email for it but it came at the same time as a bunch of others so I overlooked it. Sorry about that.

Problem at R6S wiki[edit source]

Well, this is new, and unfortunate timing. I'm going to assume it has to do with one of the extensions I just enabled. I'm going to disable them until I have time to investigate further and ping some people for recache asap, but it could be a while as I think everyone with that permission is asleep, and I was about to do so as well.
-- Mr Pie 5 (talk) 08:14, 2 July 2018 (UTC)
Isn't there european staff ? --CreativeC38 (talk) 08:28, 2 July 2018 (UTC)
There are, but no Hydra admins that I know of, who are the ones with the permission to recache.

Scumgame wiki[edit source]

Hey Mr Pie 5, could you please visit the Scumgame wiki and sort out the Infobox_Weapons template to work as it's docs page describes.
I've not contributed to a wiki for probably nearing a year now and obviously some things have changed (or different markup is being used that I'm not familiar with). Once It's working, I'll understand what I'm supposed to be doing.
Basically what's confusing me is why row labels are showing as the row content.
Thanks -- PicayuneCoterie (talk) 21:01, 21 August 2018 (UTC)

The issue was that the row name for Infobox row is its first parameter, and you were using the same parameter you were passing to both the name and the value so they were the same value. i.e. {{Infobox row|{{{thing}}}|{{{thing}}}}} instead of {{Infobox row|Thing|{{{thing}}}}}; see the doc for Infobox row. Let me know if you need any other help!
-- Mr Pie 5 (talk) 21:18, 21 August 2018 (UTC)

Need some help again. If you look at the Grenade item page on the scum wiki, you'll see that the subcategory row in the weapons infobox cannot hold multiple subcategories written the way it is. Is it possible to make this line separate the categories? If not, I can just continue doing all categories manually. I'm okay with that. --PicayuneCoterie (talk) 13:23, 31 August 2018 (UTC)

Hey, I forgot to respond to you, but I fixed it. And you know you can contact me over there too, right? We also have the slack, which I don't know if you've been on lately, but I sent you a message.

Wrecking Ball portrait[edit source]

How do you add the hexagon? I see you did the Brigitte one. Lightning laxus (talk) 20:01, 8 September 2018 (UTC)

I took one of the existing ones, Zenyatta in this case, because he seemed to offer the most blank space, overlaid Brigitte on top, and edited Zenyatta out as necessary. It's not simple or the most efficient method, and I'm sure there's probably a template for it in the game files somewhere, but it worked. If you're not familiar with either of these methods, I can start on a Wrecking Ball one sometime tomorrow perhaps.

Czech part of Astroneer wiki[edit source]

Hi,could you help me please with template "header" for posts? I copy main page from english and translate into czech, but this template is missing somewhere.. Also English has light emplate of wiki, but czech are in dark, where is it possible to switch it and make it same? KPajik (talk) 13:35, 13 September 2018 (UTC)

Looks like Widow already helped you out. Let me know if you need anything else.

What the hell happened to this website?[edit source]

About a couple weeks ago this website's design just suddenly collapsed, everything looks different and the functionality of a lot of pages is gone. For example https://ark.gamepedia.com/Breeding you can't sort the creatures by breeding time/temperature anymore.

What happened?

73.70.238.239 02:40, 16 November 2018 (UTC)

Sounds like you're in mobile view. Rarely, people on desktop will be switched to mobile view and we aren't sure why. At the bottom of the page, above the Gamepedia logo, see if there's a "Desktop" button.

Display settings[edit source]

I pressed restore default settings thinking it was a back button and it increased the screen size and now I can’t see any displays on the edges of the screen. I cat find an option anywhere to adjust the screen size — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cromagnon8 (talkcontribs) at 27 November 2018‎, 3:57 (UTC). Please sign your posts with ~~~~

I have no idea what you're talking about, but I'm going to err on the side of caution and kill a Jerboa preemptively.
-- Mr Pie 5 (talk) 19:19, 27 November 2018 (UTC)
I believe he is talking about his screen resolution for ark, saying the default settings are zoomed in. Yeah the Jerboa was gonna die anyway rip. 216.54.120.82 12:58, 29 November 2018 (UTC)

Pro membership reacquisition?[edit source]

Hi, my main account is called ScrubbaNubNub, I used to have a pro membership a while back from actively editing and such and I lost it due to inactivity. However recently I have come back to this wiki adding and/or fixing information that I can assist with and noticed I haven't gotten my pro status yet. While this is a trivial matter, it still bugs me seeing the same Fallout 76 ad blocking tables on the right side of the screen wherever there happens to be tables; I was wondering if I need just a few more edits or if I simply can't get it back.

On a side note, the guest account I'm using now is only used while I am using the school issued Chromebooks, Twitch is blocked so I can't sign in through it. I also try to leave the bigger edits to my main as most people don't initially trust guest accounts (and I'm also trying to get pro status again). Any information at all is helpful; thanks, and have a good day! 216.54.120.82 16:13, 27 November 2018 (UTC) (aka ScrubbaNubNub)

First off, please give me names of pages where ads are blocking content so I can look into fixing those. As for PRO, it's distributed to qualifying users during the first week of each month, but we can manually distribute it early on a case-by-case basis; I'll email instructions to your main account.
-- Mr Pie 5 (talk) 19:26, 27 November 2018 (UTC)
I know that I’m a few hours late on repying, but I’ll be sure to get you that list of pages you wanted.
Keep the code though, I can wait to the beginning of December, like I said it was a trivial matter; thanks for the offer though. Scrubbanubnub (talk) 22:10, 27 November 2018 (UTC)
Strange, when I went back to go look for them all the scenarios were fixed, maybe it was a one time occurrence? Regardless, the creature attacks on pages are covered partially by the right side ad though. Scrubbanubnub (talk) 22:52, 27 November 2018 (UTC)

Hades Wiki[edit source]

Love the theme you added to the Hades wiki, I was looking to see what was on it just when I saw you created it. I'll edit what I can when I have the time, otherwise let me know where I can help! Arirthos (talk) 14:34, 10 December 2018 (UTC)

Glad you like it, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. I'm still working on it and should have a skeleton that's more suitable for editing ready either today or tomorrow.

Regarding the Manticore Shield[edit source]

What did you mean by "onlyinclude for combined skin page"? Are you giving me permission to work on my page combine project? Terronscibe (talk) 21:34, 11 December 2018 (UTC)

We agreed to make these combined skin pages and he is adding onlyinclude for that purpose. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 21:37, 11 December 2018 (UTC)
If you look at the source text for one of our combined pages, Chitin Armor for example, you'll see a tabber with something like {{:Chitin Helmet}}. This means it is taking the contents of the Chitin Helmet and putting it on Chitin Armor. The <onlyinclude></onlyinclude> tags on Chitin Helmet mean that when it does this, it will only include the stuff between those tags, which in this case is just the infobox. I added those to the manticore shield page so that the same thing could be created on Manticore Armor Skins (Scorched Earth).
-- Mr Pie 5 (talk) 22:34, 11 December 2018 (UTC)
That's really cool! It makes it soo much easier on loading one page on Smartphone, then to load many.Terronscibe (talk) 01:07, 12 December 2018 (UTC)

my tribe submission is setting off the language[edit source]

the abuse filter keeps on freaking out and is saying that my tribe submision is vandlism of the gamepedia help me please

Valkrethia (talk) 21:06, 17 December 2018 (UTC)

The edit was flagged as gibberish both because of the Discord link and some of your member names containing patterns that do not normally appear in English. I will look into possible fixes, but for now I have copied your attempted edit to the page for you at Tribe:The valkrethians, and I don't expect it will give you more trouble.

Atlas Translation to Spanish[edit source]

Hi;

I am interested on the translation to Spanish of the Atlas Gamepedia website.

The same I did with ARK, but this time I will try to have more people involved, so it should be updated constantly.

Do you think it is possible? Any issue?

chemilux Chemilux (talk) 10:04, 20 December 2018 (UTC)

Sounds great! I would want to wait at least a couple weeks to learn about the game and figure out how the wiki is going to be organized before we set up the atlas-es site, but you can start making /es pages anytime.
-- Mr Pie 5 (talk) 21:44, 20 December 2018 (UTC)
Do you know where it will be released? I can not buy it from the steam page!. The hype is really big! Chemilux (talk) 11:55, 21 December 2018 (UTC)
The release date keeps keeping pushed back (classic Wildcard, right?). Current date is tomorrow (saturday), but that could always change again.

Adding comments to Wiki code[edit source]

Hi, I wonder if it is possible to add comments to the lines of code in wiki pages? If so could you please let me know how. Cheers EezaGeeza (talk) 12:08, 2 January 2019 (UTC)

For most pages you can use html comments, which start with <!-- and end with -->. If the page is written in a specific language like lua or javascript, in which case you'd use their comment syntax.
-- Mr Pie 5 (talk) 20:48, 2 January 2019 (UTC)
Thanks for the reply, there are 2 of us working on the wiki so I can leave comments in the code for the other person. EezaGeeza (talk) 12:13, 3 January 2019 (UTC)

'Notice' or 'Alert' template?[edit source]

Is there a template I could use that would tell readers about important external information related to the page? I'm planning to add a note to the top of theStructures Plus page informing people that Wildcard trying to integrate its features with the vanilla game. A perfect example would be the alert about people posting about ingame issues at the top of your page.216.54.120.82 16:09, 15 January 2019 (UTC)

Use Template:Ambox. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 16:49, 15 January 2019 (UTC)
Yep. Most page notices, including that one, are built off of ambox.
