New Creatures

Valguero features a new Creature, the Deinonychus.png Deinonychus. The Deinonychus.png Deinonychus lays its nests throughout the map and stealing one of these Deinonychus Egg (Valguero).png Eggs is the only way to tame a Deinonychus aside from breeding one. They are very strong and hard to kill in packs.

There are also two variations of the Rock Elemental.png Rock Elemental, the Chalk Golem.png Chalk Golem (in The White Cliffs) and the Ice Golem.png Ice Golem (in the Snow Desert). These two variants are identical to the Rock Elemental.png Rock Elemental in every way except for their apperance.

Notes/Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • The original map was intended to contain a Rock Drake.png Rock Drake nest in the depth of the Aberration Biome. The Rock Drake.png Rock Drake was however removed in the free DLC as mentioned in the recent official livestream with the developers.
  • Beached Ichthyosaurus.png Ichthyosaurus are harvestable for Organic Polymer.png Organic Polymer and Hide.png Hide, as well as dead Carbonemys.png Carbonemys for Spoiled Meat.png Rotten Meat, Hide.png Hide, and Keratin.png Keratin, similar to how beached Basilosaurus.png Basilosaurus on Ragnarok are harvestable for Oil.png Oil.
  • Valguero is the first official free DLC to have Aberration content on it without the need to purchase the DLC. However it doesn't include a bio-luminescent region within the Aberration Trench.
  • Although Griffin.png Griffins were shown in the trailer for Valguero, they do not spawn on the map.
