The Vulture Egg is one of the Eggs in ARK: Survival Evolved. It is only available in the Scorched Earth-DLC.

Overview[]

Vulture Eggs are randomly dropped by Vulture Vultures. They can be eaten or used to make Basic Kibble Basic Kibble for taming Dilophosaur Dilophosaur, Dodo Dodo, Kairuku Kairuku, Mesopithecus Mesopithecus, Parasaur Parasaur, and Phiomia Phiomia.

After two Vulture Vultures mate, the resulting egg can be hatched into a baby Vulture Vulture.

Grabbing an egg in the presence of wild Vulture Vultures will cause them to become hostile and attack the survivor.

Incubation

The Vulture Egg takes 1h 21m 4.476s to hatch. It must be in the temperature range of 35 to 38 °C / 95 to 100 °F to successfully hatch, otherwise it will start to lose Health Health. The female Vulture Vulture needs between 18h and 2d before having the capacity to lay eggs again. The incubation time can be reduced by up to 20% if the egg is placed in an Egg Incubator (Genesis Part 2) Egg Incubator at the ideal temperature.
