Basic Info[]

Behavior[]

Appearance[]

Brute Leedsichthys appear similar to Alpha Leedsichthys Alpha Leedsichthys, being fully white.

Color Scheme and Regions[]

This section displays the Brute Leedsichthys's natural colors and regions. For demonstration, the regions below are colored red over an albino Brute Leedsichthys. The colored squares shown underneath each region's description are the colors that the Brute Leedsichthys will randomly spawn with to provide an overall range of its natural color scheme. Hover your cursor over a color to display its name and ID.

This information can be used to alter the Brute Leedsichthys's regions by entering cheat SetTargetDinoColor <ColorRegion> <ColorID> in the cheat console. For instance, cheat SetTargetDinoColor 0 6 would color the Brute Leedsichthys's "unknown" magenta.

Wild Stats Level-up

Type in values of a wild creature to see on which stats it's emphasized. Green values on a high-level creature are very good for breeding. If you have already tamed your creature you can try to recover the breeding stats with an external tool.[1]

The stat-calculator does not work in the mobile-view, see here for alternatives: Apps

Note that after the creature is tamed it gets bonuses on some stats depending on the taming effectiveness. This makes it hard to retrieve the levels on a tamed creature, so this tool is only for wild ones, but gives a first impression, how well the stats are distributed.

Combat[]

This section describes how to fight against the Brute Leedsichthys.

General[]

The Brute Leedsichthys appears as the boss in the mission "Chasing the White Whale". The mission is located at the same Mission Dispatcher (Genesis Part 1) Mission Dispatcher as the mission "Loch'd and Loaded". This variation of the Leedsichthys Leedsichthys takes a fair amount of damage to kill, but isn't able to dish out much damage itself. On Beta or Alpha it becomes far harder. as the Brute Leedsichthys has one of the highest health pools (320k to 360k) but mercifully lower damage. This is more of a fight against the clock instead of the Leedsichthys itself.

Strategy[]

If you have a high level Basilosaurus Basilosaurus or Mosasaurus Mosasaurus, just keep attacking as it doesn't do much damage on Gamma or Beta difficulty.

On Alpha, a pack of Mosasaurs or Tusoteuthis are required as it will take longer than the Alpha Moeder to kill and will rain 500 - 700 damage down on you. Another strategy is use a well-bred Megachelon and distract the brute with it, though the Megachelon is so abysmally slow that harder difficulties may not allow you to beat the time required.

A large pack of Megalodons can effectively dispatch this brute on any difficulty since they not only get a pack boost for bonus damage and resistance, but also inflict a bleed that ignores the alpha variant's damage reduction.

Weaponry[]

A high-level Basilosaurus Basilosaurus or Mosasaurus Mosasaurus will work for gamma and beta variants but will take too long on Alpha. You will need a horde of creatures to fight this brute at that level. As mentioned above, Megalodons inflict a bleed that ignores the alpha variant's damage reduction, allowing a slow and steady kill.

Dangers[]

Slightly faster than a regular Leedsichthys Leedsichthys, and its damage can still kill lower-level creatures on higher difficulties. Its gargantuan health pool requires you to bring as much damage as possible to take it down.

Weakness[]

Its large turning radius can be somewhat exploited to get in free damage, and its attack power is fairly low for brute standards. Also, it's minions, Brute Basilosaurus Brute Basilosaurus, don't pose any threat as they do not even attempt to attack you.
