Element Shards can be crafted in the Tek Replicator. 1 Element yields 100 Element Shards.

Extinction

This section is about content exclusive to the DLC: Extinction

Unstable Element Shard can be unlocked at Level 55, and can be crafted using Element Dust. Once crafted, there will be a 2 minute spoil timer before Unstable Element Shard turns into regular Element Shard.

Notes

Element Shards can not be used as fuel for any of the Tek armor or weapons, except for use in Tek Turrets.
An Element Shard appears to be a small chunk of Element, but it weighs five times more.
The Element Shards cannot be transferred between official servers or clusters.
