Wild

While hiking up a cold mountainside the other day, I stumbled upon a creature I never imagined I would find here - a Llama! This speices, Lama salivamantrix, is incredibly mundane (by the Island's standards), possessing the size and disposition of the species I'm familiar with. More like a mountain goat, however, they negotiate the cliffs that they inhabit with ease, and can almost climb near-vertical surfaces! When approached by unwanted visitors to their slopes, Llama will spit - they're quite good shots, and will aim to blind foes before finishing them off with a flurry of kicks! Strangely, the saliva of this particular species appears to have coagulative properties - applying it to an open wound appears to speed up the recovery of said wounds, especially in humans!

Domesticated

Undoubtedly too fragile for combat, the Llama fills a niche in somes tribes as a "nurse" of sorts, with its saliva being used to tend to the injuries of allies. Similarly to the Ovis, its wool can also be shorn, providing a plush alternative to Pelt, should a survivor lack the means of collecting it.
