The Flame Arrow is an item in the Scorched Earth-DLC of ARK: Survival Evolved. It can be equipped to the Bow Bow, Crossbow Crossbow and Compound Bow Compound Bow for hunting or fighting. An unbroken Stone Arrow can be picked up by walking on it after being used.

Usage

Deals regular arrow damage on impact and applies a damage over time (DOT) effect to target for 8 seconds causing approximately 22 damage per second to players and scaling to deal higher damage to larger creatures (herbivores take reduced fire damage). Very effective against large creatures and carnivores. Deals reduced damage to herbivores.

Notes

  • Does damage to plant turrets, and any structures considered wood. Ex electrical cables, outlets, wind turbines, generators.
  • Initial damage is increased by weapon damage.
  • Has no effect against rock elementals. Does not aggro them.
