The Metal Shield is the second unlockable shield.

Usage

The metal Shield is an extremely useful mid-game item used to block frontward damage. When paired with a  Sword it can be used to easily take down strong enemies, even  Rexes. It can also be used with pickaxes and axes for protected gathering.

Notes

As of version 223.2, The Metal Shield does not take damage from  Grenades or  Rocket Propelled Grenades, the user still does though.
