Overview
Oil Veins are a strategic resource in ARK:Survival Evolved. It allows the placement of an 
Oil Pump 
on top of it for the extraction of 
Oil.
Oil Veins are found throughout the Low Desert (Scorched Earth) and Badlands (Scorched Earth) locations in the Scorched Earth dlc. There are 22 Oil Veins located in 16 distinct locations.
Usage
Oil Veins must have an Oil Pump placed on top of it to produce Oil. Once a pump is placed, it will produce 1 unit of Oil inside the inventory of the pump every 20 seconds.
