Scrap Metal is a resource in ARK: Survival Evolved.
Gathering
Scrap Metal can be obtained by harvesting dead Defender, Enforcers, Tek Creatures, Tables, Benches or Lampposts in the Sanctuary. It can be used in the same way as 
Metal would be used.
Usage
Refining Scrap Metal in a Forge, will create 
Scrap Metal Ingot .
Notes/Trivia
- 286.104: The refinement to
Scrap Metal Ingot is working. Recraft the forge if its not functional - Scrap metal refines on a 1 to 1 basis vs metals 2 to 1
- Unlike Metal, Scrap Metal's weight cannot be reduced by Argentavis.
