At the very bottom of the area is a large pond of water. This body of water overlaps with the spawning region for deep sea creatures, meaning it is possible for creatures like Megalodon, Anglerfish, and even large predators like Mosasaurus and normal and Alpha Tusoteuthis to spawn in this pond. This small habitat makes it rather easy to kill or tame animals that spawn here, although it should be noted that larger creatures may occasionally instantly die when accidentally beach themselves on a shallow part of the pond. This can be fixed by constructing a cage either on a part of the pond that's not on the mission zone or by constructing it on a raft.
